When Paris is your home base, you never tire of hitting the streets of France's capital in search of sartorial inspiration or the next up-and-coming blogger. With this desirable location in mind, our team wanted to host an exclusive event bringing together the bloggers, influencers, journalists, top Wheretoget users and brand representatives. And as an international company, Paris Fashion Week was the ideal moment to organize a soirée.
So for one night, The Wheretoget team went offline to host its invite-only, end-of-Fashion-Week event for global influencers, designers and top users before they jetted off back home. The evening was full of music, dancing and entertainment as guests took time out of their packed Fashion Week schedules to relax and spend time with fellow industry insiders.
The venue was BAM Karaoke Box, one of the trendiest bars in the Montorgueuil neighborhood. The bar’s patented retro-style bar, private karaoke rooms and thirst-quenching drinks were the perfect setting for a fun evening and to learn more about Wheretoget. Paper Motel's Elena Pavlevski had decorated the space with a touch of Wheretoget pink: the floral arrangements and neon Wheretoget sign welcomed guests to the party.
Soon after the event kicked off, the cool space became a Parisian hotspot for all the attendees. It-girls including Camille Farrugia (@holycamille), Veronica D'Onofrio (@veryblond), Insaf Bennis (@blogsparklesinparis), Valérie Sabban (@mademoisellevalerie_style) and Rossella D'Antuono (@rossellinaa) showed off their style. Guests got a chance to exchange shopping tips and Fashion Week advice: this was a Wheretoget event, after all.
At the bar, guests were served pink gin and cassis cocktails that were specially crafted for the occasion, as well as sparkling Normandy cider from local brand Sassy and flutes of rose-tinted Moet & Chandon champagne. Scrumptious bites were prepared by Monbanquet to compliment the drinks — the rainbow of macaroons were definitely a hit.
Once the meet-and-greets were out of the way, guests began to migrate towards the karaoke booths for private singing sessions, and we overheard one or two performances that would give Mariah Carey a run for her money.

“I really enjoyed the party! It was very different to other fashion events I've been to. I think the idea [of Wheretoget] is very innovative, it helps to connect readers with bloggers and makes their outfits shoppable. It was a very fun night,” said Australian blogger Priscilla Chai (@gingacharlie).
“Everybody was having a great time singing and dancing. We hope the event will introduce Wheretoget to Paris and France since we are primarily known in the United States. We are excited for many more events to come, and to bring more offline experiences to our collaborators and top users in the City of Light,” said Hela Daghfous, one of the Wheretoget team members who organized the event.
The evening was filled with vocal harmonies and laughter, and as it progressed, the champagne flowed and, inevitably, the bar turned into a dance floor. As attendees began to filter out and the night drew to a close, the Wheretoget neon sign continued to shine bright, lighting the way for many more events to come.
