What do Gwen Stefani, Bella Hadid and Kim Kardashian all have in common – besides being totally gorgeous and talented? They're all meticulous, aesthetically-obsessed Libras. From Kim's recent homage to Jackie O in Interview Magazine and Bella's expert wielding of signature pieces to Gwen's unique take on classic styles (and unforgettable red pin-up lips), it's no doubt that Libras are the sartorial mavens of the Zodiac.

Represented by the only inanimate object of the Zodiac, Libras carry the scales of balance and reason — a much-needed quality as we fully transition into fall, and start seeking some stabilizing energy in our life (IE preparing for winter hibernation). Libras are often thought of as indecisive (hence that pile of clothes on the floor), but these judicious queens are really just considering all the options for their closet and yours. They aren't interested in spending all their hard-earned money on fleeting looks, but prefer finding pieces that will stay classic and flexible.

So if you roll up to your Libra friend's crib dressed in the latest LFW trend, don't expect her to immediately go gaga over it. Rather, you might feel a bit under the microscope as she literally – but always politely – analyzes you from every angle, considers proportions, tests fabric textures and assesses color combinations. But after a lengthy ensemble examination, she will most certainly help you dress in a way that perfectly suits your personality and form. If you find yourself floundering when it comes to fashion, don't hesitate to call up your favorite Libra to work her styling magic.

As for their own wardrobe, these harmonious beauties can certainly go all-out with loud patterns and colors, but they're not about just throwing pieces together and hoping they'll work. Our Venus-ruled sisters will strive to create the ideal look for a specific occasion. Typically, this star sign wears more romantic, feminine clothes, but there are plenty of Libra looks that say quite the opposite. English darling Kate Winslet is often thought of for her flowing, wavy blonde locks and elegant dresses, but she's also completely comfortable stepping out in a sharp, black suit with geometric details. Impeccably styled French actress Marion Cotillard once described an Alexander McQueen cape as both "feminine" and "masculine," "modern" and "old," and "subtle" and "rich" all at once — which is probably the most carefully balanced, Libra-ish sentence said about a piece of clothing ever.

A Libra might get bored easily, so it's always about styling yourself in interesting ways. The surprise comes when a once-favorite piece cycles back into your closet rotation. Blue is a favored color among Libras along with other sky-inspired shades like cream and ivory for their calming, neutral appeal. A camel or navy (or both) blazer and white button-ups are standard issue, but there's always room for a sequined mini or leopard print pant. Distressed jeans and sweatpants are a major no-no as they don't qualify as polished enough, but a pair of stylish, bold slouch or glitter booties are a welcome addition to the shoe closet for their versatility. Libras are the masters of thriving on both ends of the fashion spectrum – from staple to statement pieces – and bringing it all together for one fabulous look.
