Even though this season of Game of Thrones is over, winter is still coming IRL. And that means temperatures that chill you to the bone, gusts of wind that make your eyes weep and pretty white snow that quickly turns to black slush. We've all had the experience of fumbling for our iPhones or headphones in the midst of a cold snap, only to be rewarded with completely numbed digits, ears and other extremities. Or we find ourselves cursing the arctic, overcast skies when we wear a winter coat that isn't warm enough in the streets (but somehow sweltering on the subway), heavy headwear that muffles the newest Cardi B single and ugly touchscreen gloves that fail to upload your latest Snap.

Fortunately, as in every aspect of millennial life, technology is being used to help alleviate the more unpleasant parts of foul weather. While touchscreen gloves have been around for number of years, they've seen a fashionable upgrade with more luxe fabrics like leather, better quality knits and improved tactile capabilities. Ear muffs and hats with integrated bluetooth technology (or just plain and simple built-in headphone wires) make it easy to pair with your phone, allowing you to keep your hands cozy while you talk or listen to music. To help you capture those memorable moments without prolonged exposure to the elements, Snap Inc. has developed a unique pair of sunglasses that record a Snap with the a press of a button.

And have you ever wished your coat could magically become warmer? The next best thing is a battery-powered jacket that allows you to turn the heat up or down depending on your environment and, as an added bonus, charges your devices as well. Lastly, don't forget to bundle up with smart tech layers that use bio-warming technology, insulating you against the frosty climate and making the upcoming cold season just a bit more welcoming.

Don't let the weather get in the way of your day, stock up on wearable technology that will keep you warm and out of hibernation:
