running shoes

In the days before telephones, we used runners to send messages, the most famous perhaps Pheidippides, the messenger who carried news of a victory against the Persians all the way from Marathon to Athens – barefoot! Civilisation has come a long way since then, and we are no longer forced to run in sandals or our bare feet, unless we want to. Now the sporty among us have running shoes when we want to workout or run around town. Available in all colors and styles, from cute pastels to bright neon shades, a pair of running shoes will see us through athletic activities to social engagements, shopping, sightseeing and playing at the park with our children.
