pink ribbon

The pink ribbon is synonymous with breast cancer awareness and there is no better way to bring awareness to this disease than by wearing some cute pastel clothing that features this bow. The practice of wearing a pink ribbon started in 1991, when the Susan G. Komen Foundation handed ribbons out to cancer survivors during an event in New York City. Today, a number of garments have been designed with these ribbons for breast cancer awareness, and many of them are extremely pretty and feature the bows very prominently. We also know that the proceeds from many of these kawaii garments are going to a good cause, which makes the purchase guilt-free.
